Open to all high school students. Reviewed by MIT professors. Certified and indexed.
ISE's journal is an ISSN-certified publication dedicated to original research by high school students. We publish across all STEM disciplines — from biology and chemistry to engineering, computer science, mathematics, and environmental science.
Every submission goes through a structured review process led by Dr. Ellen Roche, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at MIT, and supported by a panel of professors. We look at clarity of question, rigor of methodology, and quality of writing — not name, school, or prior experience.
Choose the template that matches your paper type below and format your submission accordingly before sending it in.
Send your formatted paper to iseofficialjournal@gmail.com with the subject line "ISE Journal Submission — [Your Name]".
Your paper will be reviewed by Dr. Roche and our faculty panel. We may reach out with revision requests or questions during this stage.
You'll receive a decision by email. Accepted papers are published in ISE's next journal cycle and indexed under the journal's ISSN.
